Minicamping Weideblik is situated in a unique location in the middle of National Park the Loonse and Drunense Dunes. This protected nature reserve is known as the Brabant Sahara and is one of the largest sand drifts in Western Europe. The variety of sandy plains, forests and heathland makes it a paradise for hikers, cyclists, horse riders and nature lovers. But there is more: in the area you will also find beautiful nature reserves such as De Brand, Kampina and the Oisterwijkse Bossen en Vennen.
National Park the Loonse and Drunense Dunes
The Loonse and Drunense Dunes cover over 3,500 hectares and are one of the most varied nature reserves in the Netherlands. This landscape was created in the Middle Ages, when the drifting sand slowly buried settlements. Beneath the sand are still the remains of the medieval villages of Westloon and Efteling. Due to the wet soil, the terrain can be boggy, so sturdy walking shoes or boots are recommended!
